Mark Stracke has lived and worked in New York City since 1972. He founded the photography program at Ethical Culture Fieldston School in the Bronx in 1977, and ran the program for 46 years. He has worked with film cameras from 35mm to 8×10 and currently works with digital images, both from scanned film and digital capture. He makes digital negatives which are used for Platinum/Palladium printing. Some images on the site are PiezoPro prints. While based in New York, Mr. Stracke has also traveled to New England, Scotland, Arizona, New Mexico, Florida and California on shooting excursions.
